Team Amani Makes Debut as UCI Continental Road Team at the Tour of Rwanda

Team Amani is proud to announce its inaugural appearance as a UCI Continental road team at this year’s Tour of Rwanda. This milestone event marks the beginning of a new chapter for the team as it embarks on its first major road race on the international cycling calendar.
The five-man squad, composed of dynamic riders hailing from Rwanda, Uganda, and Ethiopia, brings together diverse talents and a shared passion for the sport. With a blend of local insight and regional expertise, the team is set to embrace the challenging terrain of the Tour of Rwanda – an event renowned for its dramatic climbs and competitive racing environment.
In an encouraging start to their debut, the team delivered a solid performance in the prologue. Notably, Charles Kagimu showcased his racing prowess by finishing in 30th place, setting a positive tone for the challenges ahead.
